A warrant arrest in Parsons leads to a fentanyl discovery.
Parsons Police Officers were called to the 3000 block of Redwood for a report of a suspicious person digging through trash. Officers located the suspect in the 1200 block of South 29th and discovered that it was, 60-year-old, Randal Morris of Parsons. Officers discovered Morris had an active Felony warrant out of Labette County District Court for Probation Revocation. During the following arrest, they located a baggy containing fentanyl, marijuana was also discovered on his person.
Parsons officers are requesting the Labette County Attorney's Office file charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
