Multiple Traffic Stops in Parsons Lead to Several Arrests

 

 

K-9 Karim and his handler Corporal Kyle Shields have seized close to 30 grams of various drugs during traffic stops.

 

Parsons PD Sergeant Brice Dickens made a traffic stop on a 1997 Chevy Blazer in the 2100 block of Crawford. Karim indicated on the vehicle leading to a search that found illegal narcotics in the vehicle. Then days later, Sergeant Dickens again made a traffic stop leading to an arrest. This time he stopped a 2011 Ford Edge in the 1500 block of Crawford. K-9 Karim indicated on this vehicle as well, the following search found syringes, one of them was "loaded" with a clear liquid. Additionally, they located suspected marijuana, a plastic baggie with a white crystal-like substance and a digital scale, were also seized. Officers arrested Trinity Dawn Pratt, 45 of Parsons, and Morgan Leigh Wilkins, 27 of Parsons, along with Emari Taylor

 

Parsons Police are requesting charges by the Labette County Attorney's Office for possession of controlled substances, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia, and sale/distribution of certain stimulants on all three individuals arrested.
