The Kansas Bureau of Investigation and the Galena Police Department are conducting a death investigation.
Galena PD was dispatched to a residence after a subject reported that he had located a deceased person. Officers arrived 801 E. 11th St. in Galena, there they found a deceased male inside the house. The man was identifed as ,68-year-old Jerrod L. Brewer. It was not clear how Brewer died, and the KBI has been asked to help with the investigation. The investigation is ongoing.
