The Labette County Commission met in executive session with a potential attorney to represent the county for negotiations either for or against the possibility of wind turbines. Commissioner Cole Proehl says if they were to vote no on this project their options to stop it are very limited.
The original proposal by RWE was made available for the public to view. Commissioner Proehl says negotiations with RWE shouldn't be a quick process.
The recall election for Commissioner Brian Kinzie is scheduled for Tuesday, December 7th. Voters will need to either vote yes to recall or no to keep him in office.
