A Wichita woman has been arrested on a pair of charges.

Late Wednesday night. Caney police officers made a traffic stop for speeding at McGee and Boarding in Caney. Upon speaking to the driver, who was identified as 32-year-old Tara Sanders it was determined she was driving without liability insurance.

Officers also found out that Sanders had an active warrant for Theft out of Allen County Ks. She was arrested without incident. A subsequent search of her vehicle revealed an open container of alcohol.

Sanders was transported to the Montgomery County Jail on the Allen County Warrant and charges of speeding, no liability insurance, and open container.
