Six candidates were narrowed down to one during the Queen Neelah Coronation. Sarah Schwatken was crowned 2021 Queen Neelah during last night's Neewollah Pageant at Memorial Hall in Independence. Brynn Bertie was selected as first runner up and Diane Unruh as second runner up. A full list of the queen's court can be found here.
Rain may dampen some of the Neewollah activities tonight. The carnival and food booths are scheduled to open tonight through Saturday in downtown. KUSN's Connor Harbit will be downtown for a live broadcast from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
