In Cherokee next week the BNSF railway will close and repair its crossing east of the U.S. 400/K-7 junction. The road work will begin at 6 a.m. Monday, Oct. 25, and continue through Thursday, Oct. 28. U.S. 400 will be closed to traffic at the work zone. Traffic will detour on K-7, K-103, and U.S. 69.
