A dropped bag of meth has lead to an arrest.
A Parsons police officer was at the Sonic Drive-In on Tuesday when he was notified of a potential drug case. An employee showed the officer a baggie with a substance that resembled methamphetamines. After a field-testing kit was used, it was deteremined that it was, in fact, meth.
After reviewing video surveillance and working with Sonic management, officers arrested 38-year-old Nathanial Phillip Willey of Parsons on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance and interference with law enforcement. He was taken to the Parsons Police Department and charges are being sent to the Labette County Attorney's Office.
