A Parsons man has been arrested on various drug and gun charges. Parsons Police Corporal Kyle Shields and K9 Karim conducted a traffic stop on a white Nissan Armada that had defective equipment. Illegal narcotics packaged for individual sale, digital scale, syringes, along with a semi-automatic Taurus handgun were all found in the vehicle. The handgun was later found to be stolen out of Labette County.

Cash was arrested with requested charges for Sale and Distribution of Certain Stimulants, Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Stolen Property, Criminal Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, Defective Tail Lamps, and No Liability Insurance.
