The Seward County Sheriff's office has opened up an investigation into the case involving the former Coffeyville tourism director. According to the Liberal Police Department, the information was reported to the sheriff's office on Sunday night, with the police department passing the investigation over to them. Seward County Undersheriff Ryan Roar says his office is looking into this incident.

30-year-old Zach French was caught on video by MotorCity Justice allegedly trying to pick up a 15-year-old girl in Liberal last weekend. French was in the area attending a tourism conference. KGGF will provide more information as it becomes available.
