The Kansas Department of Transportation plans to place an asphalt overlay on the deck of the Neosho River Bridge on U.S. 59 south of Erie on Oct. 19th. The resurfacing work was scheduled for the week of Oct. 11th but has been delayed by rains.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane controlled by automatic flaggers at the bridge. Expect brief delays between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
