Traffic Stop leads to Burgarly Arrest

A Parsons man was arrested for burglary following a routine traffic stop. Parsons Police Sergeant Brice Dickens was checking local storage units when he located a vehicle leaving the Townsman Mini Storage Units at 1830 S Hwy 59.

The vehicle was stopped for expired tags and it was later found the driver, 36-year-old Christopher Hilton, was driving without a valid driver's license. During the traffic stop, Corporal Keenan Roberts located a storage unit that had been broken into. A probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted, and various items were located that were collected.

The Parsons Police Department has requested charges on Christopher Hilton for non-residential burglary, theft, criminal damage to property, expired tag, no valid Driver's License, and no insurance.
