Citizens of Coffeyville looking to get rid of their hazardous waste may do so in just a couple of days.

The city will be collecting hazardous waste from 8 AM to 2 PM this Thursday in the downtown parking lot south of Commerical Bank. Items accepted include antifreeze, pesticides, used oil, transmission fluid, household cleaners, paint and batteries.

Explosives, compressed gas canisters, tires, trash and asbestos will not be accepted.
