KGGF has been awarded Best Severe Weather Coverage in the State by the Kansas Association of Broadcasters.  The award marks the third consecutive year KGGF has been cited by the state broadcast association for providing the top severe weather coverage in Kansas.  The award was presented during the KAB’s Annual Convention in Wichita Monday night.

In addition KGGF General Manager, John Leonard was elected as Chairman of the Board of Directors of the KAB.  Leonard is the second KGGF manager to serve in the post.  Former KGGF General Manager Bob Pratt served as the association’s chairman in 1963.
