An Oklahoma man died in an accident just before 7 pm Sunday in Neosho County.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 45-year-old Daniel Maxwell of Oklahoma City was driving a 2008 Chevy northbound on U.S. Highway 169 just north of 35th Street.
For an unknown reason, Maxwell left the roadway to the east and the driver overcorrected which caused his vehicle to roll over. The vehicle then left the roadway to the west and rolled into the ditch. Maxwell was transported to St. Francis Hospital where he died.
According to the KHP, Maxwell was not wearing a seat belt.
