Multiple fire departments respond to a fire near Havana. Firefighters from Tyro, Dearing, Coffeyville Resources, as well as Emergency Management and Coffeyville Fires hazmat team, responded alongside the Havana Fire Department to a tank battery fire.

Emergency Management Director Rick Whitson says that the citizens of Montgomery County have never lived under better protection. Mutual and automatic aid agreements have been universally signed. Every agency will cross jurisdictions and aid any other agency. City departments respond into the county and county departments into the cities. Whitson offers a special thanks to the only private fire department in the county, Coffeyville Resources for their willingness to support the entire county.
