The Kansas Department of Transportation has announced that the BNSF Railway will close and repair its crossing east of the U.S. 400/K-7 junction at Cherokee next week.
The work is expected to begin at 7 a.m. Monday, Sept. 27, and continue through Wednesday, Sept. 29. U.S. 400 will be closed to traffic at the work zone. Traffic will detour on K-7, K-103, and U.S. 69.
