Former CCC Football Coach Passes Away

 

A former Coffeyville Community College assistant coach has passed away. Fredrick Moore collapsed during the Woodbridge High School varsity football game and later passed away. He was employed at the school as a math teacher and varsity football coach. Moore was with the Red Ravens in 2017 serving as a Student Life Manager and volunteer football coach working with the defensive backs and special teams.

 

CCC Foundation Executive Director Dickie Rolls says Moore was a great man and great coach, who loved everyone he came into contact with unconditionally. CCC Athletic Director and Head Football Coach Jeff Leiker says Coach Moore was a friend, mentor, tutor, and football coach while here at CCC. The college extends heartfelt thoughts and condolences to Moore’s family. He will always be remembered as a member of the Red Raven family.
