A 43-year-old man was injured in a hit and run incident late Thursday night in Cherokee County.
According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a pick-up was traveling eastbound on 510 Avenue when it was struck on the passenger rear side by a Honda VTX1300 motorcycle driven by Travis Roberts who was northbound on South 220th Street. The pick-up truck left the scene while Roberts' vehicle landed in the west ditch.
Roberts was transported to Via Christi Hospital in Pittsburg with suspected serious injuries. Roberts was not wearing a helmet.
