Caney Police arrest a man for squatting in a building in Caney. Early yesterday morning, a Caney Police Officer was on routine patrol when they discovered an unsecured building at KOPCO. It was discovered that someone had been staying in the building without permission.

Later yesterday morning, officers made contact with 40-year-old Richard Daily. Investigation into the incident revealed that Daily had been staying in the KOPCO building. The officer discovered Daily had an active warrant out of Montgomery County for failure to appear. He was arrested on the warrant and turned over to the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office who transported him to the county jail on the warrant charge.
