A one-vehicle crash happened in Allen County this morning. A 2006 Yamaha Motorcycle driven by 59-year-old James Arthur Sikkema of Broke Arrow, Oklahoma was northbound on U-169 when the rear tire blew causing the vehicle to cross the centerline.

Sikkema then lost control and slide into the ditch. Sikkema was taken to St. Luke's Plaza Hospital with a suspected serious injury. Helmet and other protective gear were in use.
