Between August 25th and August 31st, Pittsburg State University reported that 87 symptomatic students were tested for COVID-19 at the Bryant Student Health Center. 23 were positive and 38 students are currently in isolation. During that time period, two staff members reported they had COVID-19 as well.
Bryant Student Health Center Director of Operations Rita Girth says the only tested and positive numbers the University can report come from the Health Center. Quarantine numbers are solely managed by Crawford County Health Department and numbers can change daily.
