A recall petition has been filed in Labette County for District Two Commissioner Brian Kinzie. Commission Chairman Lonie Addis says the district two constitutes don't believe Commissioner Kinzie is protecting them when it comes to wind turbines.

The recall committee was able to collect 1,560 signatures which is well over the required 1,202 signatures. County Clerk Gena Landis and her staff have 30 days to verify the signatures to confirm all live in the second district and were registered to vote at the time Commissioner Kinzie was elected.
