Tuesday will mark 30 years since 18-year-old Karol Marlene Sullens was last seen alive when she disappeared from a Galena nightclub.

 

In exchange for his testimony, in the fall of 2001, Don Davis told the court he drove Karol and Donald Kidwell from the nightclub to a remote area. According to Davis, Kidwell later returned to the truck without Sullens. Davis has since passed away and Kidwell pled guilty in the spring of 2002 to battery and interference with law enforcement in connection to his role in Sullens' disappearance.

 

Numerous tips and information have been received and followed up on, leading investigators and other organizations to search multiple areas of Southeast Kansas and Northeast Oklahoma for Sullens' remains, but those searches have turned up nothing. A $30,000 reward is being offered for direct information leading to the discovery of her Sullens' remains.
