The Montgomery County Commissioners met today in regular session.

Public Works Coordinator Jim Wright talked about needing new Mack Trucks because engines in other ones have gone bad. The new trucks would cost $141,000 each. The Commissioners unanimously approved the purchase of the new trucks and the extended warranty that came with them. The two trucks with bad engines will be sent to a salvage yard.

The next meeting will take place next Monday morning beginning at 9:00 AM in the lower level of the Judicial Center in Independence.
