Independence Community College is once again having its “Pirates At Work” program which is part of the Federal Work-Study program.
The Federal Work-Study Program provides jobs for students with financial needs, allowing them to earn money to help pay education expenses. Usually, these jobs had students working for the school on campus. However, according to ICC Financial Aid Director Laura Allison, things are a little different this year.
To help students find a job, ICC has set up a Student Employment Job Fair on September 8th from 4 pm to 6 pm at the ICC Field House. Allison explains how this job fair works.
