A 29-year-old man was arrested after leading Fredonia police on a chase.

After being approached and notified that he had warrants out of Chanute, Daniel Wade Bryant fled on his bicycle from officers in the 800 block of North 6th Street. Bryant then later jumped off the bike and took off on foot. Fredonia Police called in the Wilson County Sheriff's Office and Kansas Highway Patrol to assist with the manhunt.

Bryant was later arrested in the 200 block of North 7th and transported to the Law Enforcement Center. Bryant will be charged locally with Obstructing the Legal Process.
