As weaning time for calves gets closer cow/calf producers are starting to put together a health management plan. Kansas State University Veterinarian Bob Larson says producers should be aware of some pre-weaning vaccination programs.

Larson says being aware of when the calves are going to be at the highest risk for disease and planning their vaccinations appropriately is valuable. Planning ahead can allow cow/calf producers to be better set up for success.
