Some good news for the residents of Caney regarding the water treatment plant. City Administrator Fred Gress says parts they were waiting on to restore the water plant to 100% production came in today and have been installed.

The city is now functioning at a much higher production level and they are headed in the right direction for available water. Caney residents can return to a somewhat normal level of water use and don't need to conserve at a high level. Gress says they are still working on the required gas line replacement and will continue to do their best to make sure no more water lines are hit.
