A crash in Cherokee Country sent two people to the hospital yesterday. A 2013 Jeep Wrangler driven by 42-year-old Katherine Rodgers was southbound on U-69 when it left the roadway. The Wrangler collided with a culvert and rolled multiple times landing on its wheels.

Rodgers was sent to Freeman Hospital in Joplin with a suspected series injury. The passenger in the Wrangler 16-year-old Ayden Noe was sent to Freeman Hospital in Joplin with a suspected minor injury. Both were wearing seat belts.
