The Labette County Commissioners signed a contract for improvements to Pumpkin Creek Bridge. Commissioner Cole Proehl says the Kansas Department of Transportation will cover 90% of the cost for the project.

Commissioner Proehl says this is a bridge that drastically needs improvements.  Commissioner Proehl says they can use the money they saved on this project to improve other bridges around the county. In other business, the commission approved a credit card for the county attorney's office.
