Dr. Shravan Gangula, Medical Director for the Montgomery County Health Department, talked about the COVID-19 Delta variant and says there are many factors in play that is causing it to spread as fast as it is. Dr. Gangula says one of the reasons for the rise in cases is the rate and ease of transmissibility.

Dr. Gangula said that the best way to mitigate the spread of this variant is to wear masks, social distance, and also get a vaccine.
