A Galena man is dead after a crash in Cherokee County.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, 20-year-old Theodore Lane III was traveling southbound on State Line Road when he left the road and struck a telephone pole, and was ejected from the motorcycle.

The driver was wearing a helmet.
