Recent high school graduates and some Kansas residents will have an opportunity at earning a new scholarship.

The Kansas Promise Scholarship was recently developed by the Kansas Board of Regents and is aimed at keeping talented Kansans living and working within the state. It is open to all 2021 high school graduates, or any resident 21-and-up who has lived in Kansas for at least 3 years.

Coffeyville Community College's Heather Pollet explained some of the financial details of the scholarship.

The scholarship is applicable to many of the technical programs offered by CCC. The college will be holding an informational session on Friday, July 30th at the Coffeyville Technical Campus.
