Flood Warnings Continue Through Weekend

 

The National Weather Service in Wichita has issued flood warnings for northern Labette County and northeastern Montgomery County. This includes Parsons, Independence, Cherryvale, Oswego, and Altamont.

 

Significant rises are being monitored at the Neosho River. The NWS reported that flooding is expected soon near Parsons. The most current flood warning for Montgomery County expires 5:14 am on Monday. The most current flood warning for Labette County expires on 9:09 am Tuesday, and Neosho County expires at 11:43 pm Sunday. In addition, Wilson County is under a flood warning until 5:38 pm on Sunday.
