Indy Man Finds Meth in Muskrat Hole

Independence resident arrested for drug possession. Earlier this week, sheriff’s deputies reported to a rural area of Montgomery County, in response to a report of a blue passenger vehicle sitting in a field. Upon arrival, they discovered 41-year-old, Bradley Hall fishing in a pond on the property.

During the investigation, deputies discovered Hall was trespassing and had a felony warrant out of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Hall was found to be carrying over an ounce of methamphetamine in his boot. During questioning, Hall said while fishing he stepped into a muskrat hole and that's where he found the methamphetamine. Sheriff Ron Wade said in his 32 years in law enforcement he's never heard a story like this.

Hall was transported to the department of corrections with suggested charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute, and failure to have a drug tax stamp.
