The Caney Police Department is searching for a man who is considered to be armed and dangerous. Early this morning, Anthony VanZant was involved in a domestic altercation with his ex-girlfriend in Caney. During the altercation, VanZant pulled out a pistol and ordered the victim out of her car. He was last seen in an older model, late 70's to early 80's gold or tan Ford flatbed truck.

VanZant was a passenger in the truck and the driver was reported to be armed as well. Caney PD says if you see this truck do not approach it and notify law enforcement immediately. VanZant is a white male, 6'7”, weighs around 230 lbs, with short brown hair and blue eyes. He is wanted by Caney PD for aggravated domestic battery.
