Churches in Independence will be coming together for a mass worship on August 1st in Memorial Hall in Independence. The event is scheduled to begin at 10 am. Pastor Nick Grim of Impact Christian Church in Independence says the idea for this event started with just a few churches and has only expanded.
After the service at Memorial Hall, the event will continue at Riverside Park from 1 pm to 5 pm with a food truck and free rides, and free mini-golf. The event will then conclude from Riverside Pool from 6 pm to 8 pm.
Pastor Grim said with this being an outreach event they are asking for a donation to help USD 446 students.
