Caney Man to Appear in Court After Holiday Weekend Accident

A Caney man to appear in court after Fourth of July weekend hit-and-run. The Caney Police Department received a report of a convertible striking a power pole and mailbox. The driver fled the scene before officers could arrive. Officers were able to determine the vehicle was a Ford Mustang convertible, confirmed by witnesses at the accident.

Yesterday, officers located what they believed to be the vehicle parked in a garage in the 100 block of Church St. The vehicle was covered, which partially concealed the damage. Officers contacted 20-year-old Tyron Bradley at the residence. He admitted to being involved in the accident and fled the scene because he did not have insurance or current registration. Bradley was issued notices to appear in city court on charges of leaving the scene, no liability insurance and no current registration. The court appearance date was set for August 3rd.
