A traffic stop and search warrant lead to the arrest of two on drug charges. Earlier this week, the Nowata County Sheriff’s Office arrested Jerry Anderson Jr from a traffic stop in southern Nowata County. Anderson had about a fourth of a pound of what was believed to be methamphetamine and a firearm. He was arrested for drug trafficking and two firearm charges.

The following day, the sheriff’s office served a search warrant at 506 Main in Delaware, which is the known residence of Anderson. During the search, more substance believed to be methamphetamine was found. This substance was individually bagged likely to be sold. At the residence, Jamie Anderson was arrested for a warrant.
