A Caney man was arrested Wednesday afternoon on multiple charges.

 

The Caney Police Department received a 911 call at around 4 pm reporting a burglary in progress at the Garden Walk Apartments. The victim of the crime reported to the dispatcher that a person known to them as 29-year-old Aaron J. Walker had just kicked their apartment door open and entered the apartment. Walker was reported to have left the scene on foot.

 

Caney PD officers arrived within a minute of receiving the call and contacted Walker who was walking on 10th St. East of the apartment complex. He was arrested without incident. Upon investigating the scene, officers observed the front door and door jam of the apartment were kicked in and were heavily damaged as a result of the forced entry to the apartment.

 

Walker was arrested for Aggravated Burglary, Criminal Damage to Property, and Criminal Trespassing. He was transported to the Montgomery County Jail.

 

This isn't the first run-in with the law for Walker. He was arrested a few weeks ago on separate fighting charges.
