Man Arrested for Aggravated Kidnapping, Various Drug Offenses

 

A Pittsburg man has been arrested on a wealth of charges including aggravated kidnapping.

 

The Pittsburg Police Department received a phone call from an anonymous person who reported their friend was battered by a significant other. However, the caller would not provide the location of the victim. Shortly afterward dispatch received a call from the victim and officers met with the victim. The victim stated that her significant other, 24-year-old Sean Michael Wolsey placed his hands around her neck and strangled her to the point where she nearly lost consciousness. The victim stated that she attempted to escape the residence through a window but was pulled back into the residence. Eventually, she was able to escape.

 

A search warrant was obtained for Wolsey's residence and he was taken into custody. Wolsey faces charges of aggravated kidnapping, aggravated battery, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Wolsey also had an active arrest warrant for him through the Crawford County District Court. He is being held in lieu of a $100,000.00 bond.
