The Coffeyville Summer Celebration is just four days away, but the lineup has seen some additions compared to previous years. New to the festivities this year is a cornhole tournament. Featuring 15 sets of boards, organizers are expecting a big turnout for what should be a popular event.
One of those organizers, Mike Bradley, said the tournament will help a good cause.
Registration begins at 11:30. The tournament will be held at the horseshoe pit, on the south side of Walter Johnson Park. The entry fee per team is $20. More information on the tournament and the festivities themselves can be found at the Celebration's Facebook page.
