Motorists who drive on U.S. 400 in Wilson County will need to give themselves a few extra minutes as the Kansas Department of Transportation has started a concrete patching project.

The project area begins at the Greenwood-Wilson county line and continues southeast to K-47 at Fredonia. Work zone traffic is reduced to one lane with signals. Expect delays of 15 minutes or less. Weather permitting, the road work should be finished by the end of July.

KDOT reminds drivers to obey the signs and signals and to slow down.
