The City of Caney and the Caney Police/EMS department has received a sizable donation from the Delaware Trible of Indians.

The money will be used to purchase and install a new telephone recording system in the dispatch center. This project was identified by Police Chief Kevin Kitterman last year as a "high priority."

The new recording system will pick up audio from radio traffic, as well as telephone calls made to the dispatch center.
