A 19-year-old is arrested in Caney after assaulting his girlfriend. Earlier this weekend, Caney Police Officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance at the Garden Walk Apartments. A male and female, who were in a dating relationship, had been involved in the dispute.

The victim told officers that her boyfriend, Shane Wade Jr., had choked her, hit her in the head and broke her cell phone during the argument. Physical injuries to the victim supported her story. Wade had left the scene, prior to officer's arrival. Officers were able to contact Wade and he agreed to come to the police department. After an interview with officers, Wade was placed under arrest. He was transported to the Montgomery County Jail and charged with of aggravated domestic battery, aggravated kidnapping and criminal damage to property.
