Stay Cool this Summer, Avoid Heat Exhaustion

 

With the official start of summer just a few days away, high temperatures have already started approaching 100 degrees in both Kansas and Oklahoma. Whether you are working or playing outside, Dr. Brett Gray says there are some precautions to take if you are going to be outside for an extended period of time.

 

Dr. Gray says if you are spending a lot of time outside this summer be on the lookout for signs of heat exhaustion.  Dr. Gray says it's good to take breaks often to cool down outside and it is better to do so in the shade rather than going inside.
