A Columbus man has died in an accident on Sunday in Parsons.

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, a 2015 Chevy Malibu driven by a 15-year-old female was southbound on U.S. 59 and Corning Avenue when it struck a southbound 2009 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven 52-year-old Phillip Andrew Moore in the right lane causing his bike to tip over and slide on its side before coming to a stop. Moore was pronounced dead at the scene.

The female driver and her two 10-year-old occupants were properly restrained and not injured. Moore was not wearing a helmet.
