Tensions over wind energy continue to rise as a group of Labette County citizens want a county commissioner removed from office. A recall petition for District Two Commissioner Brain Kinzie is being circulated to obtain signatures. Commissioner Kinzie says they are trying to get him out of office for someone who will agree with Commissioner Addis and vote no.

Commissioner Kinzie says he hasn't made a decision on wind energy and if any of his constituents would like to discuss the matter with him the door is always open.  There was some discussion on the best way to contact the commissioner. He says he would prefer in-person or over the phone as he might not always answer emails.
