Parsons Police officers are on the hunt for a suspect who got away after an early morning disturbance call.

Officers were called to the 2300 block of Grand early Friday morning for a reported domestic fight. The suspect was identified as 19-year-old William Tyrone Andre Phillips, who left the scene in a Ford F150. Officers attempted to stop the vehicle, but Phillips sped away and initiated a chase. The chase lasted for several blocks before officers lost the suspect in the "dusty and dark" roads.

Charges are being sent to the Labette County Attornery for Aggravated Domestic Battery along with Fleeing and Attempting to Elude Officers, among other crimes. This continues to be an ongoing investigation.
